As local guides we can add extra depth and enjoyment as you explore the town – it can make a big difference!

In two hours, we can unlock 1300 years of history of one of the most beautiful towns in Dorset, help you meet local characters and take you on a walking tour back through time.

After your walk you can spend time visiting  Sherborne Castle and The Old Castle; the stunning Sherborne Abbey, Sherborne Museum, explore the independent shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants. Visit Discover Sherborne for more ideas.

We are experienced high-quality Blue Badge guides who are the official tourist guides of the United Kingdom. We wear a Blue Badge to indicate our professionalism and are recognised by local tourist bodies throughout the UK, including Visit England and Visit Dorset.

We make Sherborne accessible to all and help you enjoy your visit by providing guided walks, ideas of what else to do and where to visit.

We believe the personal touch is what will make your visit special.

Thank you for supporting us during 2021. Are you looking for original ideas for a Christmas gift?
Read this review from January 2021.

"I bought a private walking tour as a Christmas present for my family, wanting something we could do together (covid safe), enjoy even with our ...different tastes and learn something new about the area.

Having reached out to Paul to ask if he would be able to accommodate something for us - and did he deliver!

Honestly this was such a brilliant day out that the family continue to bring up. Paul is enthusiastic, paces the tour well and brings so much context to a town that you would miss just by taking a stroll around.
We covered so much history and some hilarious I can't believe that happened stories that I really have discovered a new level of love for Sherborne.

Please do reach out and book a place, it's such a fabulous way to spend a few hours and you're guaranteed to learn a piece of history and make some wonderful memories."

Have a great time!
