Explore the Three Boroughs (Pt2)

A fresh take on an aspect of Sherborne’s rich historical heritage a mark the 2024 tourist season.

This private booking is the second part of what has become two parts of the walk. Originally intended to start and finish at Castle Garden this 3½  – 4 hour route is a new collaboration with Castle Gardens for 2024. In future, anyone who books on this ‘low season’ tour will receive a dining voucher for the Castle Garden Café, reflecting an interesting new development. This tour is particularly suited to group, rather than individual bookings

The  walk passes the Old Castle, pmoves up Newland and The Sherborne up to the Greene. Passing the Abbey, the route continues around Westbury & Digby Tap – Digby Road – Pageant Gardens – Railway Station area – finishing overlooking the Purlieu and view of Castle Gardens. We investigate how the historical heart town evolved and the links which embrace events from 2000 years ago to the present day. An unusual way to consider the towns history which has received very positive feedback from the trailblazing group who booked the walk.

Group discount available for groups above 8 people. Contact paul@sherbornewalks.co.uk to discuss options and details.

I look forward to giving you a different way to think about the towns, heritage, influential families and people, cultural development!

This particular tour is fully booked.
