Yetminster – explore a historic gem, Part 2. Thursday
This is the concluding part for clients who joined Part 1 last Autumn. An opportunity to discover more interesting facts about the building, famous people, and the unusual village history.
Start time: 10.30 a.m. Meet outside the Old Gallery Cafe, Yetminster.
This will start with a walk along the High Street with its array of unique historic buildings, interesting family and economic history before looping around an area with interesting links to Methodism into the historic railway station. Passing the old ford and site of a old water mill, we will continue through a Woodland Trust area which, depending on the season, is full of butterflies & birdlife. We will return to the High Street via St. Andrew’s Church prior to working our way back to the Old School Gallery cafe.
